He was a member of the editorial team and author of the monthly magazine Mut, which was discontinued with issue 591 (July / August 2017) .

reception
In April 2019, a planned reading by Noll in Leipzig was canceled at short notice by the organizing SPD- affiliated Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung . After the author initially received no justification, the head of the responsible country office, Matthias Eisel, spoke to the press and justified the rejection with Noll's “criticism of Germany's pro-Islamic regime policies”. He is also bothered by Noll's work on the blog The Axis of the Good , which he rated as “at least right-wing populist”. The director of the Jerusalem location of the Simon Wiesenthal Center , Efraim Zuroff , spoke of a sad day for German democracy, as the SPD “blacklists someone who does not agree with their foreign policy”. The Friedrich Ebert Foundation then regretted the media debate in a statement and underlined its solidarity-based attitude towards Israel.
