Mikhail Alexandrowitsch Fissenko ( Russian Михаил Александрович Фисенко ; born June 1, 1990 in Magnitogorsk , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Ak Bars Kazan in the Continental Hockey League since May 2019 .
Career
Mikhail Fissenko began his career as a hockey player in the youth department of HK Dynamo Moscow , for whose second team he was active in the third-rate Pervaya League from 2006 to 2008 . For the 2008/09 season he moved to the Vancouver Giants from the Canadian Junior Western Hockey League , in which he played from 2009 to 2011 for the Calgary Hitmen . In the 2009/10 season he won the Ed Chynoweth Cup with the Hitmen , the championship title of the WHL and took part with the team in the Memorial Cup , the final tournament for the championship of the Canadian Hockey League , but could not prevail in this with Calgary .
For the 2011/12 season Fissenko was committed by Metallurg Novokuznetsk from the Continental Hockey League .
In October 2012, Fissenko and Andrei Stepanov were given to Amur Khabarovsk in exchange for Alexander Nikulin . At Amur, Fissenko was one of the regular players in the following seasons and by 2015 had over 100 KHL games for the club. In June 2015, Lugin was given to Admiral Vladivostok as part of an exchange deal that included a total of 12 players and 2 transfer rights. At Admiral Fissenko was appointed assistant captain.
International
For Russia , Fissenko took part in the U18 World Junior Championship in 2008 , where he won the silver medal with his team. He contributed to this success with two assists in six games.
