Miguel Ángel Morán Aquino
Miguel Ángel Morán Aquino (born May 25, 1955 in Esquípulas , El Salvador ) is a Salvadoran clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Santa Ana .
Life
Miguel Ángel Morán Aquino received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Santa Ana on December 5, 1981 .
On July 19, 2000, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of San Miguel . The Apostolic Nuncio in El Salvador, Archbishop Giacinto Berloco , donated him episcopal ordination on September 2nd of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of San Salvador , Fernando Sáenz Lacalle , and the Bishop of Sonsonate , José Adolfo Mojica Morales .
On February 8, 2016, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Santa Ana.
