Mihalıççık , also Mihalıçcık , is a city in the district of the same name in the Turkish province of Eskişehir and at the same time a district of the Büyükşehir belediyesi Eskişehir (metropolitan municipality / metropolitan province ) created in 1993 . The district is located in the northeast of the province at an altitude of 1325 meters.
history
Mihalıççık went down in European history as "Micalizo". Philippe d'Artois, comte d'Eu , Connétable of France died here on June 16, 1397 after he fell into Ottoman captivity on September 26, 1396 at the Battle of Nicopolis .
In 1923 Mihalıççık received the status of a municipality ( Belediye ) according to the city logo .
