The Ceres microregion ( Portuguese Microrregião de Ceres ) was a region in the Brazilian state of Goiás established for geostatistical purposes from 1989 to 2017 by the Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE) . It belonged to the Central Goiás mesoregion and comprised 22 communities. Micro and meso regions were not administrative units. The IBGE has been using a new internal classification since 2017.
