Miles Bridges (born March 21, 1998 in Flint , Michigan ) is an American basketball player .

career

Bridges played as a student for the Flint Southwestern Academy team in Michigan and moved to Huntington Prep in West Virginia in 2013 . In his senior year, Bridges achieved averages of 25 points, ten rebounds, five basket assists and two ball wins per game for Huntington.

He joined the Spartans at Michigan State University and became a top performer in his freshman season. He was voted best league newcomer of the 2016/17 season by coaches and reporters from the Big Ten Conference . Bridges played a total of 62 games for the university team between 2016 and 2018 and recorded 17 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. End of March 2018 he was the end of his time at university known and enrolled for the draft process of the NBA one. In the talent selection process in June 2018, the Los Angeles Clippers secured the rights to Bridges in twelfth place, but immediately passed them on to the Charlotte Hornets as part of an exchange .
