On June 24, 2015, Batum moved to the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for Gerald Henderson and Noah Vonleh . In the first two years in Charlotte he recorded the best points of his previous NBA time before the numbers fell in the 2017/18 game year and in the 2018/19 season with 9.3 points per match, the second worst value of his previous NBA- Career achieved.
