Mimoň III (German Niemes - III. District ) is a district of the city of Mimoň in the Czech Republic . It is the central district of Mimoň and belongs to the Okres Česká Lípa .
geography
Mimoň III is located in the Ralská pahorkatina ( Rollberg hill country ); the district includes the city center of Mimoň as well as the chateau park to the left of the Ploučnice and the corridors adjoining it to the northeast. To the northeast rises the Ralsko ( Rollberg , 696 m) and to the east the Písčitý Kopec (386 m). Road II / 270 runs through the district between Stráž pod Ralskem and Doksy .
Neighboring places are Mimoň IV in the north, Srní Potok in the northeast, Mimoň I in the east, Mimoň II in the south, Mimoň V in the west and Mimoň IV in the northwest.
history
At the end of the 19th century, the city of Niemes was divided into districts, one of which was the III. District.
In the 1970s, the Pod Ralskem prefabricated housing estate was built east of the castle park . In 1986 the appearance of the town was changed significantly with the demolition of the Mimoň Castle and the Old Town Hall.
In 1991 Mimoň III had 480 inhabitants. In 2001 Mimoň III consisted of 114 houses in which 457 people lived. In total, the district consists of 152 houses.
The chateau park and the chateau pond are located in Mimoň III.
Local division
The district of Mimoň III is part of the Mimoň cadastral district. It includes most of the basic settlement units Mimoň-střed and U nádraží and a western part of Pod Ralskem.
The streets Březinova, Hřbitovní, Jiráskova, Malá, Mírová, Mlýnská stezka, Nádražní, nám are located in the district. 1. máje, náměstí Čsl. armády, Poštovní, Raisova, Sokolská and Vranovská.
