Mimoň V (German Niemes - V district ) is a district of the city of Mimoň in the Czech Republic . It is located west of the center of Mimoň and belongs to the Okres Česká Lípa .
geography
Mimoň V is located on the right side of the Ploučnice in the Ralská pahorkatina ( Rollberg hill country ). It extends west of the cemetery. The Řetenice – Liberec runs through the district , from which the connecting line Mimoň St 1. – Mimoň staré n. Branches off at the Mimoň station . To the north rise the Kalvarienberg and the Strážný ( Wachberg , 362 m), to the northeast the Ralsko ( Rollberg , 696 m), in the southwest the Liščí vrch ( Fuchsberg , 321 m) and northwest the Ptačí vršek ( Vogelberg , 337 m). The forest area Borečký les ( Heiderevier ) extends to the south-west .
Neighboring towns are Mimoň IV in the north, Mimoň III in the east, Mimoň II in the south-east, Boreček in the south, Provodín , Srní and Veselí in the south-west, Brenná and Božíkov in the west and Bohatice in the north-west.
history
With the construction of the North Bohemian Transversal Railway , the town of Niemes received a new train station on the western edge of the town at the end of the 19th century. At the beginning of the 20th century, the area between the old town and the train station was built, creating the fifth district.
In 1991 Mimoň V had 709 inhabitants. In 2001 Mimoň V consisted of 165 houses in which 696 people lived. The district consists of 175 houses in total.
The Mimoň train station and the Comenius elementary school are located in Mimoň V.
Local division
The Mimoň V district is part of the Mimoň cadastral district. It includes the Slovany basic settlement unit and most of U nádraží.
Březinova, Jiráskova, Komenského, Nádražní, Nový domov, Podhájek, Růžová, Slovany, Vrchlického and Zahradní streets are located in the district.
