The Ministry of Finance and Economics of Baden-Württemberg was a ministry in the administration of the state of Baden-Württemberg . It was created by the change of government in 2011 when the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economic Affairs merged . The only Minister of Finance and Economics of Baden-Württemberg from 2011 to 2016 was Nils Schmid . After the state elections in 2016 and the formation of a green-black coalition, the ministry was split up again.
The energy sector , which belonged to the division of the old Ministry of Economic Affairs, has belonged to the division of the Ministry of Environment, Climate and Energy since the change of government in 2011 .
