Mohamed Amer Al-Malky

Mohamed Amer Al-Malky (born December 1, 1962 ) is a former sprinter from Oman who specialized in the 400-meter run .

He took part in the Olympic Games four times. As a single starter over 400 m, he retired in Los Angeles in 1984 , finished eighth in 1988 in Seoul and failed again in the first round in 1992 in Barcelona . In 1984 and 1988 he was part of the Omani relay in the 4 x 400 meter relay , which did not get beyond the run. In 2000 in Sydney he started in the 4 x 100 meter relay as part of the Omani relay, which was also eliminated in the first round.

At the Asian Athletics Championships he won silver in 1985, gold in 1987 and silver again in 1989, and bronze at the Asian Games in 1986 and gold in 1990. In 1987 he reached the quarter-finals at the World Athletics Championships in Rome .
