Career
Mohamed Coulibaly began his career in the youth field with the French club FC Gueugnon . There he made the leap into the second team and was also part of the first team's squad from 2007 to 2009. Coulibaly made his professional football debut for FC Gueugnon on May 12, 2008, the 37th matchday of Ligue 2 . In the home game against HSC Montpellier , he was in the starting line-up alongside the future star Aly Cissokho and Romuald Peiser . However, even after relegation to the third division , Coulibaly only got one more use for the first team. Therefore, he moved to the fifth division FC Saint-Louis Neuweg in the summer of 2009 . After two years, Coulibaly decided to move abroad. In July 2011 he moved to the Swiss third division club SC Dornach . There he became a regular player and was discovered by the Grasshopper Club Zurich , who signed him after just two months and five games for SC Dornach in September shortly before the end of the transfer window. After only three games for the second team, he was also appointed to the first team's squad. On the 13th match day of the 2011/12 season he finally made his debut in the Axpo Super League in the home game against Servette FC , when he came on for Steven Zuber in the 71st minute . After an injury at the end of April 2012, however, he was no longer used until the end of the 2011/12 season. In the following season he came five times as a substitute for use.
From 2013 to 2015 his career took him to England, then he played for two years in Spain, namely with Racing Santander , where he scored nine goals. In July 2017 he moved to FC Vaduz in the Swiss Challenge League , where he has a contract until 2021.
