Morgan Page (born May 31, 1981 in Burlington , Vermont ) is an American DJ and music producer in the field of Progressive House and Electro-House .

biography

Morgan Page has been producing electronic music since he was twelve. After sending some demo tapes to local radio stations, he eventually got his own radio show on WRUV 90.1 FM while he was in high school himself . He later worked as a DJ and station manager at WERS 88.9 FM at Emerson College in Boston , where he studied. At first he mainly played trance . After an internship at Plastic City in New York, he became more interested in house music .

To date, Morgan Page has produced numerous remixes (among others by Delerium , Nelly Furtado and Madonna ), which reached top positions in the Billboard charts. His best-known production is "The Longest Road", whose remix from Deadmau5 received a Grammy nomination in the category "Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical" in 2009 . In 2009, Page was also nominated twice at the International Dance Music Awards , in the categories "Best Breakthrough Artist (Solo)" (which Lady Gaga won) and "Best Progressive House / Trance Track".
