Moritz Leibelt (born June 14, 2000 ) is a German soccer player .
Career
After starting out in the youth team of SC Fürstenfeldbruck and SpVgg Unterhaching , he moved to the youth department of FC Carl Zeiss Jena in winter 2019 . There he came to his first assignments in the senior division in the 2nd team in the Oberliga Nordost .
At the beginning of June 2020 Leibelt was appointed by head coach Kenny Verhoene as part of an internal restructuring measure together with five other top division players in the third division squad, which was able to participate in the league again. It was there that he made his first professional appearance when he was substituted on for Dominik Bock in the 77th minute of the game on July 1, 2020, the 37th matchday, in the 2-2 away draw against SpVgg Unterhaching .
