Maximilian Rohr (born June 27, 1995 in Bad Friedrichshall ) is a German soccer player .

Career

youth

Maximilian pipe comes from Heilbronn and started at TSG Heilbronn with the football . Then he was trained in the youth of Karlsruher SC until 2011 . In the 2011/12 season he played for the U17 of FC Astoria Walldorf . In 2012, Rohr moved to VfB Eppingen .

Rohr initially played as a striker , but was ordered into midfield because of his height of 1.70 meters . After a growth spurt as a U19 player, he is 1.95 meters tall and plays in central defense .

Amateur area

After two years in the U19, Rohr made the leap to the active at VfB Eppingen in 2014. There he played for two years for the first team, with which he celebrated the championship in the Landesliga Rhein-Neckar in 2016. He then applied to SSV Reutlingen by email and was actually signed up for the 2nd team. But he quickly prevailed in the 1st team in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg . After two years he switched to league competitor SGV Freiberg and signed a contract there until 2021.

Professional area

Rohr drew attention to himself with strong performances in the major league, so that he was signed by FC Carl Zeiss Jena for the 2019/20 season . He signed his first professional contract with the third division team until 2021, with the option for another year. In the 0-3 away defeat in Zwickau , the defender was in the starting line-up, but was sent off shortly before the end of the game.
