Matti Langer (born February 27, 1990 in Erfurt ) is a German soccer player . He has been playing for Chemnitzer FC since summer 2018 .

Career

Langer came to FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt from TSG Stotternheim in 2000 . Until 2009 he played in the youth teams. From the 2008/09 season he was used in the second team. In 2009 he also came to a use in the third division . In 2011 he went to Wacker 90 Nordhausen in the Thuringia Association League . In 2012 he was promoted to the NOFV-Oberliga (South Staffel) and in 2013 the march through to the Regionalliga Nordost .

In the summer of 2016, Langer moved to the second team of SC Freiburg , with whom he was promoted to the regional league southwest as a league champion. In the summer of 2017, the second division team SpVgg Greuther Fürth signed him . There he played primarily in the regional league team. Matti Langer played a game in the 2nd Bundesliga. After leaving SpVgg Greuther Fürth at the end of the 2017/18 season, Chemnitzer FC announced Matti Langer's commitment. In July 2020 he signed a three-year contract with FC Carl Zeiss Jena .
