Tremmell Lequincy Dushun Darden (born December 17, 1981 in Inglewood ) is an American basketball player . He usually plays in the positions of small forward or shooting guard .

career

Tremmell Darden began his career at Las Vegas High School in Las Vegas , Nevada . After graduating in 2000, he went to Niagara University , where he played for the Niagara Purple Eagles in the NCAA's Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference until 2004 . He had his most successful season in 2003/04 when he reached the conference finals with his team and was elected to the All-Tournament Team.

Darden completed his first professional season in 2004/05 in the Turkish TBL for Erdemir Ereğli SK . After a year he moved to Belgium, to the Leuven Bears and from 2006 to Spirou BC Charleroi , with whom he entered the ULEB Cup in 2007/08 and was able to celebrate the Belgian championship title. After a year in the Australian NBL , where he could also win the championship with the South Dragons , Darden returned to Europe. For the French clubs Strasbourg IG and SLUC Nancy Basket he played one season each and was able to celebrate the championship title in the LNB with the latter in 2010/11 .

For the 2011/12 season Darden moved to the Spanish club Unicaja Málaga . With these he made his debut on October 20, 2011 in the ULEB Euroleague , where his team reached the round of 16. The Spanish league ACB , however, only finished Unicaja in a disappointing ninth place. In the summer of 2012, Darden signed for the Lithuanian top club Žalgiris Kaunas and immediately won the national Supercup. In March 2013, the Spanish record champions Real Madrid signed him to replace the injured Martynas Pocius until the end of the season. With the “Royal” he won the championship with a 3-2 draw in the final playoff against FC Barcelona . In the following season he was able to celebrate victories with his team in the Spanish Supercup and the Cup , in the championship Real Madrid as well as in the Euroleague only failed in the final.

In July 2014 Darden signed a contract with Olympiacos Piraeus that ran until 2016 . In the 2018/2019 and 2019/2020 seasons Darden played for the Central German BC in the basketball Bundesliga . Whereby he was re-obligated in both seasons (November and January).
