Flemming Niemann (born August 7, 1996 in Minden ) is a German soccer goalkeeper who is under contract with FC Carl Zeiss Jena .

Career

Niemann was trained in football in the youth teams of Arminia Bielefeld and at Karlsruher SC . For both Arminia and KSC , he was in the respective senior division squad several times during his A youth , but only made his debut in the men's division for Karlsruhe in the 2015/16 season .

From summer 2016 he was in the regional league team of FC Augsburg II for three years , where he took turns with Lucca Nagel. In his last season for the Fuggerstadt team, Niemann was the first choice in goal before Nagel, but only played with the team to stay up.

For the third division 2019/20 season, the East Westphalia signed a two-year contract with FC Carl Zeiss Jena as the successor to the previous goalkeeper Raphael Koczor , who had switched to TSV Steinbach Haiger . After two appearances in the Thuringian State Cup , Niemann came on the 19th matchday at 2-1 in Großaspach for regular goalkeeper Jo Coppens , who had injured his shoulder, half an hour before the end.
