Theodor Bergmann (born November 8, 1996 in Bad Langensalza ) is a German football player who is mostly used in the central midfield.

Career

After Theodor Bergmann was trained in the youth of FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt , he was promoted to the club's first team in 2015, but was also used in the second team. He made his debut in the 2nd team on August 16, 2015 in the 1-0 defeat at 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig . On February 28, 2016 he scored the interim 2-2 in the 60th minute in the game against FSV Barleben . Despite his first goal, the game was lost 3-4.

On July 24, 2015 Bergmann was first used by coach Christian Preusser in the 3rd division . In the 1: 2 defeat in the east derby against 1. FC Magdeburg , he was substituted on for Pablo Pigl in the 67th minute . He scored his first goal on the 38th and final day of the season in a 3-0 away win at Holstein Kiel .

Following the relegation of Rot-Weiß Erfurt, Bergmann will transfer to 1. FC Kaiserslautern on July 1, 2018 .

He played his first competitive game for FCK on matchday 6 in a 1-1 draw against FSV Zwickau , where he was in the starting line-up. On the following day he was substituted in for Julius Biada in the 3: 3 draw against Fortuna Köln in the second half and scored the interim 3: 2 with a direct free kick in the 88th minute of the game.

Theodor's brother, Johannes Bergmann, is also a soccer player and has been with FSV Wacker 90 Nordhausen since 2014 .
