Maximilian Oesterhelweg (born July 21, 1990 in Gütersloh ) is a German football player .

Career

Oesterhelweg began his career at Gütersloh TV and later moved to FC Gütersloh 2000 . After his youth, he moved to SC Wiedenbrück in 2000 and rose to the NRW League with his team in 2009 . A year later he made it through to the Regionalliga West with the Wiedenbrückers . Oesterhelweg completed a total of 46 league games for Wiedenbrück and scored three goals. In summer 2011 he moved to the second team of FSV Frankfurt , with whom he was relegated two years later from the Regionalliga Südwest . In 61 regional league games for FSV, Oesterhelweg scored seven goals. After the relegation of the FSV, he moved to the second team of local rivals Eintracht Frankfurt , for which he scored eight goals in 19 regional league games until the 2013/14 winter break.

In January 2014, he then completed a trial training with the second division club VfR Aalen , which then signed him. On February 16, 2014, Oesterhelweg made his professional debut against Energie Cottbus when he came on for Michael Klauß . In the further course of the second half of the season, however, he only came to two other short appearances. Also in the following season 2014/15 Oesterhelweg could not prevail in the Aalen team and was only substituted three times in the second division; He was also used twice for the second team of the VfR in the major league. After his contract in Aalen had expired, Oesterhelweg joined the regional league club SV Elversberg in summer 2015 .

In the 2016/17 season, Oesterhelweg advanced to become a key player in Elversberg. During the winter break, the second division club 1. FC Kaiserslautern expressed interest in the left wing, but a change did not take place. With Elversberg he was champion of the Regionalliga Südwest, but failed in the promotion games to the 3rd division at SpVgg Unterhaching . At the end of the season, the third division Sportfreunde Lotte finally announced his commitment. Oesterhelweg made a free transfer and signed for two years. Oesterhelweg left the club in summer 2019 and joined Chemnitzer FC for the 2019/2020 winter break .

In mid-August 2020, he moved to FC Carl Zeiss Jena , who was relegated to the Northeast Regional Football League in the 2020/21 season , and signed a contract there for one year with the option of an extension for another year.

In addition to his football career, Oesterhelweg is completing a distance learning course to become a fitness specialist .
