Murray Wand (born April 14, 1968 ) is a former Australian ice hockey player who twice won the Goodall Cup , the Australian national championship, with the Sydney Bears .
Career
Murray Wand spent his entire career with the Sydney Bears in the Australian Ice Hockey League . With the bears he won the Goodall Cup , the Australian ice hockey championship, in 2002 and 2007 . In addition, the VIP Cup was won in 2008 as the ALIH's preliminary round winner.
International
For Australia , Wand initially took part in the C World Championships in 1992 and 1993 , the C2 World Championships in 1994 and 1995 and the D World Championships in 1996 , 1997 , 1998 , 1999 and 2000 . After switching to the current division system, he played in 2001 , 2003 , 2006 , 2007 and the World Championship in Division II in 2008 , when the "Aussies" were promoted to Division I for the first time, in Division II.
