Myles Christian Turner (born March 24, 1996 in Bedford , Texas ) is an American basketball player who has played in the NBA with the Indiana Pacers in the NBA since 2015 .

NBA

Turner played a year for the University of Texas and was then selected in the 2015 NBA Draft by the Indiana Pacers in 11th place. On January 22, 2016, he managed a personal best of the season in the loss to the Golden State Warriors with 31 points. At the end of his rookie season, Turner was named to the second NBA all-rookie team . Turner rose to 14.5 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game in his second NBA year. In his third year he had to sit out some games due to an elbow injury, but helped the Pacers to qualify for the playoff. In the 2018-19 season, he led the NBA with 2.7 blocks per game and also hit almost 39% of his three-point throws.
