Anthony "TJ" Warren Jr. (born September 5, 1993 in Durham , North Carolina ) is an American basketball player who currently plays for the Indiana Pacers in the NBA .
Career
Warren left the Wolfpack of North Carolina State University after two years. In his sophomore year, he led the ACC conference in points, with 24.9 per game. For this he was named ACC Player of the Year. Then he signed up for the NBA draft .
In the 2014 NBA Draft , he was selected by the Phoenix Suns in 14th place. He soon established himself in the rotation of the Suns as a player who was able to reliably score points from the bench. On February 2, 2016, he broke his right foot in a game against the New York Knicks and subsequently missed the rest of the 15/16 season .
After his return to the start of the season 16/17 , he was appointed to the starter on the small-forward position due to an injury to PJ Tucker . Due to his constant performance on the offensive, he kept this position even after Tucker's return. Prior to the start of the 17/18 season , Warren signed a four-year, $ 50 million contract extension with the Suns.
During the NBA off-season in June 2019, Warren was transferred to the Indiana Pacers .
