Jeremy Emmanuel Lamb (born May 30, 1992 in Norcross , Georgia ) is an American basketball player who is currently under contract with the Indiana Pacers in the NBA .

college

Lamb played for the University of Connecticut for two years . In his first year with the Huskies , he won the NCAA championship alongside Kemba Walker . After Walker moved to the NBA, Lamb became the team's lead player. He finished his sophomore year with 17.7 points and 4.9 rebounds. He then decided to switch to the NBA as well.

NBA

In the 2012 NBA Draft , Lamb was initially selected by the Houston Rockets . On October 27, 2012 he was transferred to the Oklahoma City Thunder together with Kevin Martin and Draftpicks . In return, James Harden joined the Rockets. At the Thunder, Lamb saw little playing time in his first year and scored 3.1 points per game in 23 games. Lamb also played a large part of his rookie season with the Tulsa 66ers in the NBA D-League .

In his sophomore year, Lamb was given a more prominent role, scoring 8.5 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 78 games. On December 29, 2013 he achieved the 117-86 victory over the Houston Rockets , with 22 points, his highest career yield to date.

On June 25, 2015, Lamb was traded against Luke Ridnour and a 2nd round pick for 2016 to the Charlotte Hornets . Lamb played a total of four years with the Hornets, where he developed into a solid role-player and set career highs at the Hornets in the 2018/19 season with 15.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. In the summer of 2019, he signed a contract with the Indiana Pacers .
