Aaron Shawn Holiday (born September 30, 1996 in Ruston , Louisiana ) is an American basketball player who is currently under contract with the Indiana Pacers in the NBA .

career

Holiday, whose brothers Jrue and Justin had professional basketball careers before him, played at Campbell Hall High School in North Hollywood , California before joining the UCLA Bruins at the University of California, Los Angeles in 2015 . Between 2015 and 2018, Holiday played 101 games for UCLA and averaged 14.3 points as well as 4.7 assists and 3.2 rebounds per encounter.

At the end of March 2018, he finished his university days and announced that he would be participating in the NBA's draft process in June 2018. There he was called in the first selection round in a total of 23rd place by the Indiana Pacers .
