NGC 2384 is an open star cluster in the constellation Great Dog and has an angular extent of 5.0 'and an apparent magnitude of 7.4 mag. It was discovered by John Herschel on February 15, 1836 and is also known as the OCL 618 and ESO 559-SC9 .
