NGC 2393 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sc in the constellation Gemini on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 217 million light-years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 80,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 2385 , NGC 2388 , NGC 2389 .
The object was discovered on February 7, 1885 by the astronomer Edouard Stephan .
