NGC 2416 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sc in the constellation Little Dog at the northern sky . It is an estimated 223 million light years from the Milky Way and about 70,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by Albert Marth on January 26, 1865 .
