NGC 2407 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Gemini on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 372 million light years from the Milky Way and about 120,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 2406 and NGC 2411 .
The object was discovered by Édouard Stephan on February 7, 1885 .
