NGC 2406 is a galaxy in the constellation Gemini on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 367 million light years from the Milky Way and about 75,000 light years across.
In the same area of the sky is u. a. the galaxy NGC 2407 and NGC 2411 .
The object was discovered by Édouard Stephan on February 7, 1885 .
