The Nahaufklärungsgeschwader 102 was an association of the German Air Force during World War II .

Lineup

The staff and the second group were formed on February 15, 1943 at the Jüterbog-Damm air base ( Lage ) from the local reconnaissance school 2 (H), which in turn was founded in October 1942 at the Brieg air base. The second group consisted of the staff and the 3rd and 4th seasons.

The first group formed on the same day in Brieg ( Lage ) and had its origins in the local education school 2 (H). The I. Group had the staff and the 1st and 2nd squadron.

history

The two groups of the squadron remained stationed on their home bases throughout their existence and were used to train long-range reconnaissance crews. To do this, they used Arado Ar 96 , Bücker Bü 131 , Bücker Bü 181 , Dornier Do 217 , Focke-Wulf Fw 58 , Messerschmitt Bf 109 , Messerschmitt Bf 110 training aircraft . There were no front missions.
