Nagarzê ( Nakartse ) is a county in Shannan Governorate in Tibet . It has an area of ​​1,054 square kilometers and according to the 1990 census 29,512 inhabitants, of which 29,410 Tibetans and 99 Han Chinese. (2000 census: 32,635 inhabitants.)

The Samding Monastery and Lake Yamzhog Yumco are located in Nagarzê .
