Natalie Holzner (born March 12, 1992 in Voitsberg ) is an Austrian musician , singer and songwriter.

Life

Natalie Holzner learned to play the violin from the age of seven and received piano lessons from the age of eight. She attended the music high school in Graz and then studied German and music education with a major in singing as a teacher training course at the Mozarteum and the University of Salzburg . In 2016 she completed her Magister Artium .

Her love for music and German hits accompanied her from an early age and led to her first vocal performance in her hometown of Voitsberg in 2005. In 2007, at the age of 15, she took part with the home strikers for the first time with Tell me about love together with the home strikers Grand Prix of Folk Music . Further participations followed in 2008 and 2009 with For a day and everything for the heart . In each of the three participations she was eliminated in the preliminary round. Furthermore, she performed at the Musikantenstadl , the TV broadcast of Hansi Hinterseer on, won the Herbert Roth Prize of MDR and completed numerous appearances in the German-speaking countries . After graduating from high school , she mainly devoted herself to studying in Salzburg. Nevertheless, she took part in the Puls-4 casting show Herz von Österreich in 2014 and reached the finals with her version of A Little Peace .

2017 she brought her second studio album picture book out , in which they participated to a large extent even as a composer and author. Since then she has been composing and writing lyrics, together with her husband, music producer Dominik Hemmer , for other artists in German-speaking countries. In 2018 TV appearances followed at Wenn die Musipiele Winter Open Air , every Sunday at Stefan Mross and her own music show Frühling Dahoam , where she was also seen as a presenter for Folx TV for the first time. Her summer single Wolkenweiss reached number 1 on the iTunes hit charts. In 2019 the singles Ewig us and Do's for you followed . In January 2020 she was a guest with Tu's für dich at Wenn die Musipiele's Winter Open Air . Already a few months later published Natalie Holzner her new single sun dance, they play in the Stars at Wörthersee in ORF / MDR presented .
