Natalja Witaljewna Evdokimowa ( Russian: Наталья Витальевна Евдокимова , English transcription Natalya Yevdokimova ; born March 17, 1978 in the Kirowohrad Oblast ) is a Russian middle-distance runner of Ukrainian origin.

Life

In 1997 she became the European Junior Champion over 1500 m . The following year she received Russian citizenship.

At the World Athletics Championships in 2003 in Paris / Saint-Denis, she reached the semi-finals over 800 m , and at the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004 she was fourth over 1500 m.

After a break from competition of several years, she reported back in 2009 with a sixth place over 1500 m at the European Indoor Championships in Turin . At the World Championships in Berlin , she was eighth over the same distance.

At the European Athletics Championships 2010 in Barcelona, ​​she was eliminated over 1500 m in the preliminary run.

Natalja Evdokimowa is trained by Viktor Morozov and starts for the Dinamo club .
