Since the National League was founded by the Technical Commission of the Swiss Paraplegic Association in Nottwil in the 2013/14 season, the championship has been divided into two parts: 4 teams play in National League A. For the 2017/18 season, the NLA was increased to 5 clubs for the first time. With the relegation of Lausanne and the resignation of the team from Lucerne, 4 teams will again play in the top division in the 2018/19 season. There are seven teams in National League B. We play on four or five tournament days per season. In the national league A 2 × 20 minutes are played, in the lower class 2 × 10 minutes.
