The Grünscheider Bach nature reserve extends south of Grünscheid in the town of Leichlingen (Rhineland) in the Rheinisch-Bergisches Kreis .

description

It is a richly structured Siefental with a fall spring over a rock ledge, Ranker rock soils , rock crevices , small caves and spring outlets .

Protective purposes

The area is protected as a typical biotope of the Bergisches Land in order to maintain and restore a sieve with source areas, a near-natural stream (tributary of the Weltersbach ), as well as accompanying near-natural forest stands.
