description

The Höhscheider Bachtal is a wide bottom valley of the Höhscheider Bach with wooded valley slopes. Along the valley and bank slopes you can see old rows of trees and large-crowned bank trees. Field trees and bushes stand on the slopes. The Bachtal has well-developed and endangered plant communities, near-natural stream sections and a valuable biotope complex . It also has a branching stream valley system with tapering spring depths to a natural meandering stream. It should be protected with its woody stocks and the extensively used grassland as a structurally rich habitat for species typical of the area.
