The Oefter Tal nature reserve is a 31.20 hectare nature reserve in the southern Essen district of Heidhausen .

description

The Oefter Tal is a deep brook valley through which the Oefter Bach and numerous source brooks flow in the direction of the Ruhr . Small alluvial forests and beech forests typical of the region shape the image of this nature reserve.

Protection goals

Preservation of the stream system and the adjacent forest areas, despite intensive forest management in the south of Essen.
