The Naure is an orographic left or north tributary of the Diemel in the East Westphalian district of Höxter in North Rhine-Westphalia, about 8.7 km long . It flows from the southern foothills of the Eggegebirge and flows in the southern part of the Teutoburg Forest / Eggegebirge Nature Park and in the southwest of the Warburger Börde .

The Naure rises in the extreme southern foothills of the Egge Mountains near the village of Bonenburg , a north-western district of Warburg . Two sources are named as the source of the brook: The first source is just 1.4 km north-northwest of the village center, near the state road 828 in an agricultural area at about 272 m above sea level. NN ; the stream kilometrage refers to this source . The second source is located just under 2 km northwest of the village center on the southeast slope of the mountain Burg ( 423 m above sea level ) in the forest directly north of a quarry at around 323 m above sea level. NN ( ⊙ ).
A few hundred meters after the two source brooks meet, the Naure in the Warburger Börde, which is mainly facing south-east, flows through Bonenburg to cross under the Hamm – Warburg railway in the village , and a little further south-east it flows under the disused Holzminden – Scherfede railway ; Both railway lines cross in the Warburg village of Nörde, about 1 km east of the brook . A little further south, it crosses the Obere Ruhrtalbahn and shortly afterwards the federal highway 7 .
Finally, the Naure passes the west of Ossendorf location penny mill to shortly thereafter to about 176 u m. NN to flow into a mill ditch of the Weser tributary Diemel coming from the northwest .
