Neil Edward Tiedemann CP (born March 5, 1948 in Brooklyn ) is an American religious and auxiliary bishop in Brooklyn .

Life

Neil Edward Tiedemann joined the religious community of Passionists , made his profession on August 22, 1971 and was ordained a priest on May 16, 1975 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Bishop of Mandeville on May 20, 2008 . The Archbishop of Kingston, Jamaica , Donald James Reece , donated him episcopal ordination on August 6 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Thomas Vose Daily , Bishop of Brooklyn , and Charles Henry Dufour , Bishop of Montego Bay .

On April 29, 2016 Pope appointed him Francis to the titular of Cova and auxiliary bishop in Brooklyn.
