Tommaso Cascianelli

Tommaso Cascianelli CP (born March 9, 1948 in Capodimonte , Latium ) is an Italian religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Irecê in Brazil .

Life

Tommaso Cascianelli joined the religious community of Passionists and was ordained a priest on April 7, 1973 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Irecê on July 5, 2000 . The Archbishop of São Salvador da Bahia , Geraldo Majella Agnelo , donated him episcopal ordination on September 23 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Czesław Stanula CSsR , Bishop of Itabuna , and Washington Cruz CP, Bishop of São Luís de Montes Belos .
