Netsuite Open 2014

The Netsuite Open 2014 took place September 26-30 , 2014 at Stanford Squash in San Francisco , California , United States . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2014/15 and belonged to the International 70 category .

The defending champion was Ramy Ashour , who did not participate again due to an injury. In the final, the top seeded players Grégory Gaultier , who was in the final of this tournament for the third time after 2012 and 2013, and Amr Shabana faced each other. Gaultier defeated Shabana 11: 3, 11: 5, 11: 3 and won the tournament without losing a set.

The field of participants consisted of 16 players, four of which were reserved for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Julian Illingworth a spot in the main draw.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 70,000.
