Netsuite Open 2016

The Netsuite Open 2016 took place from September 27 to October 1, 2016 in San Francisco , California , United States . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2016/17 and belonged to the PSA 100 rating category . The women's squash tournament was part of the women's PSA World Tour 2016/17 and also belonged to the PSA 50 rating category .

The defending champions were Ramy Ashour for the men and Amanda Sobhy for the women.

The participant fields consisted of 16 players each, four of which were reserved for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received James Willstrop in the men's and Reyna Pacheco a spot in the main draw in the women each.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize money was $ 100,000 each.
