Zhenia is a Ukrainian migrant who works as a masseur in Poland. He pays regular home visits to his customers from the Warsaw upper class. Despite their wealth, the residents of this walled community exude an inner sadness, but the mysterious novice's hands can heal, and his eyes seem to invade their souls. His Russian accent sounds to her like a song from the past and a reminder of her apparently safer childhood. For many, Zhenia becomes an intimate confidante and soon a Guru-like figure for them.
