Dionicio Castellanos Torres (born May 19, 1971 in Tijuana , Mexico ), better known by his ring name Nicho El Millionario ( Spanish. Nicho (short form of "Dionicio") the millionaire ), is a Mexican wrestler .

Career

Beginnings and AAA

Dionicio Castellanos started wrestling at an early age; at the age of 17 he entered the Mexican wrestling league Mexico-Indys. At that time he was trained by his brother Fobia and Rey Mysterio Sr. and competed under the name El Salvaje .

In 1989 he went to Asistencia Asesoría y Administración and led under the ring name Psichosis matches against El Hijo del Santo , Rey Mysterio (against Mysterio he competed around 500 times in the course of his career), La Parka , Juventud Guerrera and his father Fuerza Guerrera .

Engagements in various leagues

In the next time he had several appearances in different leagues (e.g. WWA, ECW ) and finally came to the World Championship Wrestling (WCW). Here he got the name Psychosis and won the WCW Cruiserweight Championship twice there . He was released at the beginning of 2000 and was then active in the ECW from July to November . He then spent time in many different leagues, including X Wrestling Federation, World Wrestling All-Stars, All Japan Pro Wrestling and Xtreme Pro Wrestling. He then went back to Mexico, where he worked under the name Nicho El Millonario in the AAA and at Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre.

WWE

In 2005 he moved as Psicosis to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), where he in June the same year, along with Super Crazy and Juventud Guerrera the Stable Mexicools formed. However, their success was limited, so the team was disbanded in 2006 and Psichosis was officially released by the WWE on November 1, 2006, possibly due to a car theft in October 2006.

Mexico

After his dismissal, Castellanos initially returned to work at CMLL before he later performed again at the AAA. There he dropped the gimmick of Psicosis, the mask and gimmick were reassigned to a previously unknown wrestler. As Nicho El Millionario , he joined the La Hermandad 187 tag team with Joe Lider . In 2012, Nicho, who was now playing again as Psicosis, and Joe Lider parted in a feud that ended in a "Lucha de Apuestas" match at Triplemania XX, which Castellanos won.
