Nick Golüke

Nick Golüke (born July 6, 1973 in Darmstadt ) is a German documentary filmmaker, journalist , reporter , director and film producer as well as managing director of Nglow Film and New Media, which was founded in 2011 and is based in Munich .

Life

Nick Golüke's journalistic career began while he was still at school at the Georg Büchner School in Darmstadt as a freelance writer for the Darmstädter Echo and as an employee at Hit Radio FFH . He studied political science at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . After an internship at Focus magazine , Golüke worked for German sports television (DSF) in the mid-1990s . From 1997 he was a freelance television writer, reporter, editor and director in the sports department of Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR). Since then, Golüke has been reporting for BR and Das Erste on the Bundesliga , World Cups and the Olympic Games. After the World Cup relegation game Turkey - Switzerland in 2005 , Golüke was recommended for his reporting as a live reporter for the ARD for the German TV Prize. His 2008 interview with Uli Hoeneß on the occasion of a financial "rescue operation" by the SV Darmstadt 98 association attracted a lot of public attention. Golüke also works as a BBC reporter and live director for the NDR . In 2011 he founded the production company Nglow Film and New Media , an international media service provider with a focus on television and film productions with topics and documentaries from the areas of society, current affairs, culture and science as well as politics.

Nick Golüke is a member of the Bavarian Journalists Association and the FC Bayern Business Circle. He is married, has two children and lives in Munich.
