Palina Rojinski
Palina Rojinski [ rɔʒinski ] ( Russian Полина Рожински * 21st April 1985 in Leningrad , Russian SFSR , Soviet Union as Russian Полина Рожинская ., Scientific transliteration Polina Rožinskaja, German transcription Polina Roschinskaja ) is a Russian - German television presenter and actress . She became known at the music channel VIVA and through her role in the TV show MTV Home at the side of the presenter duo Joko and Klaas .
Youth and private life
In March 1991 Rojinsky moved with her parents from Leningrad to Berlin . The mother has a Russian and Christian background , the father a Russian-Jewish background; Palina was baptized Russian Orthodox . In rhythmic gymnastics , which she has been practicing since she was four, she was twice German champion among the juniors . Due to knee problems and six hours of daily exercise, which included ballet dancing , she gave up the sport at the age of 14. In order to train herself moderately from the previous level, she then devoted herself to numerous different dances professionally for three years . After graduating from high school , she studied literature and history for three semesters at the Humboldt University in Berlin .
In February 2013, Rojinski and her friend Jean-Christoph Ritter (known as "Schowi" from the hip-hop band Massive Töne ) separated after six years together. Rojinski lives in Berlin.
Career
Her television career began in 2006 with two appearances in the pseudo investigator documentary Lenßen & Partner . In the two episodes she played Kathinka Rumanova, a Russian ex-prostitute.
In 2009 she was hired by MTV to co-host MTV Home . Soon she became an integral part of the team around Joko and Klaas and was given a separate section “99 things a man should have done”. With the station reform at MTV, she switched to VIVA Germany as a presenter in 2011 , where she presented the Top 100 , the retro charts , festivals and events such as the VIVA Comet 2011 and the red carpet at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2012 .
At the same time, when she switched from MTV Home to ZDFneo, she also became part of the neoParadise team and in 2012 also presented the experimental TVLab on ZDFneo , a competition to discover a new broadcast concept, as well as her own personality show Rojinski Circus . At the 2012 Bambi awards ceremony , she hosted the red carpet and gave the laudation in the “Pop International” category. In 2013, like Joko and Klaas, she moved to ProSieben , where, in addition to occasional appearances in Circus HalliGalli , she takes part in a number of other formats. From 2013 to 2015 the passionate dancer was a member of the jury in the show Got to Dance on ProSieben and Sat.1 . Since 2014 she has been on her program Offline - Palina World Wide Weg or Inside - On the way with Palina without important resources in various cities around the world and therefore has to make do with the residents. In 2015 she also hosted the hidden camera show The Big Surprise - Your Most Beautiful Nightmare . In 2016 she was seen in an episode of the program In the Box and got an insight into the Bundeswehr . In September 2016, she hosted a Saturday evening show for the first time with Das ProSieben Away Game alongside Elton .
Palina Rojinski also appears as a DJ under the name “Palina Power”. As an actress, Simon Verhoeven cast her for his two-part comedy Men Hearts . In Rubbeldiekatz by Detlev Buck , she played the Jasmina, and she was in Florian David Fitz 'movie Jesus loves me to see. In 2015 she played a leading role alongside Elyas M'Barek in the movie Traumfrauen . In the movie Willkommen bei den Hartmanns (2016), she was seen as the daughter of a family taking in an asylum seeker who fled the terrorist organization Boko Haram . In the summer of 2017, she was a reporter in Russia for ARD as part of the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup . She was also back in action for ARD at the 2018 World Cup .
Since March 2019, she has had her own podcast Podkinski on Spotify , which is published every 14 days. There she plays with her guests like Guido Maria Kretschmer , Sylvie Meis or Olli Schulz and talks about their lives, experiences and stories.
