Nicolas Douchez (born April 22, 1980 in Rosny-sous-Bois ) is a French football goalkeeper .
Career
Douchez began his career at Le Havre AC , where he did not appear in three years. In 2002 he moved to LB Châteauroux , where he was also not used in the first season. In the second season he was a regular goalkeeper. The club finished eleventh in Ligue 2 , the second highest French division.
At the beginning of the 2004/05 season, the goalkeeper moved to Toulouse FC . From autumn 2005/06 he was the goalkeeper of le Tef . The team was able to reach 16th place at the end of the season. In the following season, third place was surprisingly achieved, so Toulouse qualified for the European Cup. Douchez 'first appearance at European club level he completed on August 15, 2007 in qualifying for the UEFA Champions League . The club lost in the 3rd round against Liverpool 0-1. Douchez played through. Ultimately, the team was eliminated in the group stage of the UEFA Cup .
