Nicolaus Schrickel

Johann Nicolaus Schrickel (* 1820 - May 13, 1893 in Eilenburg , Kingdom of Saxony ) was a German organ builder and carver in Eilenburg.

Life

Nicolaus Schrickel worked for the organ builder Ludwig Weineck in Eilenburg from 1842 . In 1845 he started his own business there. Descendants or successors are not yet known.

Works (selection)

Nicolaus Schrickel built more than 60 organs, mainly in the Eilenburg area, but also in Thuringia and Lower Lusatia . Some have been preserved. Instruments that are no longer available are in italics .
