Nicole DeBoom (* 17th February 1972 in Chicago as Nicole Molzahn ) is a former American triathlete and Ironman -Siegerin (2004).

Career

Nicole was successful in swimming in her youth and qualified for the American Olympic team in 1988 at the age of 16.

In 1994 Nicole Molzahn started triathlon and she started as a professional in 1999. She graduated from Yale University .

In 2000 she finished twelfth at the Ironman Hawaii (Ironman World Championship) and in September 2004 she won the Ironman Wisconsin .

In 2005 she founded the sportswear label Skirt Sports and thus established skirts for women as running clothing.

She has been married to the former triathlete Tim DeBoom (* 1970) since 1996 . The two live in Boulder, Colorado and in December 2011 they were expecting their first child. Nicole DeBoom has not appeared internationally since 2014.
